DPG-2103 |
The DPG2100 controller has
widespread application for many diesel and gas engine generator sets. This microprocessor
based, digital controller performs across a wide speed range offering extremely fast
engine response to speed or load change and stable isochronous operation.
The controller also features an LED that provides an operating status symbol. Controller
set up is simple with only speed and gain adjustments. The unit is suitable for both panel
and engine mounting and uses a magnetic pickup for speed reference.
The DPG2100 has an internal FAILSAFE that instantly reacts to:
· Interruption of DC power returns actuator to minimum fuel position.
· Loss of speed reference signal cuts power to the actuator for spring return to
minimum fuel position.

The DPG-2100-001 is used primarily to govern
diesel or gas fueled engines of generator sets. This microprocessor based, digital
controller performs across a wide speed range and allows adjustment of Set Speed and Gain
with the built-in user interface.
The COMM port provides access to all other governor settings to allowing adaptation to
each application. Separately programmable Proportional, Integral, and Derivative gains are
provided for tailoring governor response to many engine applications.
Properly tuned, this governor delivers fast engine response to speed or load change while
providing precise stable isochronous operation. Other adjustments include Acceleration and
Deceleration Ramp Rates, Idle Speed Set and Hold Time, and more. The governors
internal FAILSAFE reacts instantly to loss of the engine speed signal allowing the
actuator to return to minimum fuel. |
